Chopped Pear Salad

Autumn Pear Salad made with tiny pieces of sweet pear, crisp romaine lettuce, crunchy pecans, sweet and chewy dried cranberries and hearty bacon all coated with a poppy seed balsamic vinegar dressing.

Romaine Lettuce | Pears Pecans | Dried Cranberries Havarti Cheese | Bacon Poppy Seed Dressing Balsamic Dressing

Cook bacon on medium-low heat until crispy, then chop into bite-size pieces.

INSTRUCTIONS

Next, chop the pears into bite-sized pieces. Leave the peeling on. That's where a lot of the nutrition (and flavor!) lives.

Chop the lettuce and make sure you have small bite-size pieces. Once chopped, wash and drain all the water.

In a large bowl, combine the lettuce, pears, dried cranberries, pecans, bacon, and Havarti cheese.

Mix the Poppy Seed and Balsamic dressing together, drizzle onto the salad and toss to combine.
