Smoked Chicken

Prepped with a brown sugar, smoky paprika and garlic based rub, this Applewood Smoked Chicken tastes amazing!

Start by making the rub. A good rub adds flavor and traps in moisture when smoking chicken.

Rub Ingredients

Dark brown sugar Chili powder Smoked paprika Onion powder Garlic powder Oregano Salt

At hour 2, insert a digital thermometer.

When the internal temperature is 165°F, remove the chicken.

Instructions

Smoke the chicken at 225°F for around 4 to 5 hours.

Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes.

With a sharp knife, slice the chicken.

Turn the smoker off.

Serve and enjoy!
