CHICKEN CAPRESE

Fresh and flavorful, this chicken caprese recipe is a one dish meal made with baked chicken breasts topped with melted Provolone and ricotta cheese and then mixed with oregano and tomatoes

INGREDIENTS

Chicken Breasts Ricotta Cheese | Oregano Salt | Pepper | Garlic Powder Olive Oil | Crushed Tomatoes Provolone Cheese

Preheat oven to 350°. Combine ricotta, oregano, salt, and pepper. Set aside. 

CHEESE MIXTURE

Rub chicken with garlic powder. Heat oil in a large skillet and cook chicken for 5 minutes on each side.  Line the breasts up in a large baking dish. 

PREPARE CHICKEN

Spoon ricotta mixture and tomatoes equally on top of each breast.  Place one slice of Provolone on top of the crushed tomatoes. 

PLACE TOPPINGS

Bake for 20 minutes.  Remove from oven and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
