Bacon Wrapped Asparagus

This smoked asparagus is wrapped in bacon, drizzled in olive oil, and then topped with Parmesan cheese. Not only is it the perfect side dish, it also makes for an amazing appetizer!

INGREDIENTS

Asparagus Spears Bacon Olive Oil Parmesan Cheese Salt & Pepper

Cut off the ends of the asparagus. Next, blanch them for 2-3 minutes in boiling water, then remove from the water.

INSTRUCTIONS

In a Ziplock baggie or large bowl, add olive oil, salt, and pepper. Add the blanched asparagus spears and mix well until coated.

Wrap a slice of bacon around 4-5 asparagus spears, sprinkle with salt, pepper and Parmesan cheese and place in an aluminum pan. Smoke in a preheated smoker for 30-45 minutes.
