BREAST

Juicy and delicious, this smoked turkey breast is low maintenance and a huge crowd pleaser. Brined in a citrus based liquid and then covered in a savory rub and rosemary butter, this turkey is moist, tender, and full of flavor!

INGREDIENTS

INGREDIENTS

Turkey Breast Water | Salt | Garlic | Ice Dark Brown Sugar Rosemary | Peppercorns Bay Leaves | Lemon Orange | White Wine Garlic Salt | Onion Powder Butter | Pepper

In a large bowl, combine the brine ingredients and turkey. Add ice to the brine and then cover with a lid or plastic wrap. Place in refrigerator for 24 hours.  After brining, remove turkey from the liquid and place on a large dish. Discard brine mixture.

Preheat smoker to 225°. Use a mild flavored wood. Fill a water pan with water and place in the smoker.  While smoker is heating, combine garlic and onion powders and set aside.  In a separate bowl, mix flavored butter ingredients.

Using paper towels, pat the turkey dry. Generously cover with dry rub using your hands.  Apply the butter mixture to the turkey using a spatula or a basting brush.  Place turkey directly on smoking rack.

Smoke for 3-4 hours, until internal temperature of meat is 165°.  Remove turkey from the smoker and put it on a plate. Cover with foil and allow it to rest for 10-15 minutes before carving.  Enjoy!
