Smoking tri tip has never been easier! Smoked low and slow, this smoked tri tip is full of flavor and is incredibly tender. And it takes less than 2 hours!

INGREDIENTS

Tri Tip | Light Brown Sugar Garlic Powder | Onion Powder Smoked Paprika | Cayenne Coarse Salt | Black Pepper

Combine the brown sugar, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper together.

INSTRUCTIONS

Spread the seasoning over the meat, ensuring you press the rub into the steak. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for 12 to 24 hours.

Put the meat directly on the smoker rack, fat side down. Insert a thermometer and smoke low and slow until the desired temperature is met. Click below for Steak Doneness Chart

Wrap the smoked meat tightly in aluminum foil and allow to rest for 7-10 minutes. Then slice against the grain. The thinner the slices, the more tender the steak.
