Equipment

  • cocktail shaker

Ingredients

  • 1.5 ounces vodka
  • ¾ ounce sour apple schnapp liqueur
  • ¾ ounce sour apple mix
  • 3-4 cubes of ice, for shaking purposes

Instructions

  • Chill the martini glass in the freezer until cold, at least 30 minutes.
  • Add all the ingredients and the ice into the cocktail shaker.
  • Put the top on the cocktail shaker and shake for 12-15 seconds.
  • Pour the mixture into the chilled martini glass.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Shaking a drink for 12-15 seconds is enough time for the liquids to become nice and cold. Using a stainless steel or copper shaker will yield a colder, more frosty martini.
  • Make sure the sour apple mix hasn't expired. When stored at room temperature, it's good for about 12 months.
  • If you don't have a cocktail shaker, use a protein shaker, a blender bottle, or a mason jar.
  • Garnish the martini glass with fresh slices of green apples. Lemon twist is also another great way to garnish.
  • To keep the apples from browning, dip them in lemon juice.
