Slow Cooker

PINTO BEANS

These slow cooker pinto beans are full of flavor and super simple to make! Just combine 4 ingredients and let that slow cooker do all the work. You’ll have yourself a tasty side dish to pair with any meal!

INGREDIENTS

Dried Pinto Beans Water | Salt | Black Pepper Crushed Red Pepper Flakes

Sort through the beans and discard any broken or dark pieces and rocks.  Rinse dry beans and place them in the slow cooker. 

SORT AND RINSE BEANS

Add the rest of the ingredients into the slow cooker and stir.  Cover and cook on low for 7-9 hours. Be sure not to overcook. 

COOK

Turn the slow cooker off.  Serve warm. 

SERVE AND ENJOY

Serve plain or top with your favorite toppings. We suggest feta or cotija cheese and parsley or cilantro!
