- The air fryer will turn off after 20 minutes. From there, open the air fryer pan and let sit for 5 minutes before serving.

Common Questions and Helpful Tips
Let’s set you up for success and answer a few frequently asked questions.
- My airfryer does not have the chicken option. What temperature should I use and how long should it cook? For boneless, skinless chicken thighs, set the air fryer to 360 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes, turning halfway through until the chicken has reached a temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit. If you are using bone in thighs with skin, increase cook time for 22-25 minutes at 360 degrees. Then cook on 390 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 more minutes.
- How long does it take to cook chicken thighs? I cook chicken thighs for 40-45 minutes, or until an internal thermometer reaches 165 degree fahrenheit.
- Should I rinse the chicken thighs before I bread them with the spice mixture? You don’t have to but you can. Personally, I like to. The added moisture helps the seasonings stick better.
- Should I turn the thighs over when cooking in the air fryer? Nope! There’s no need to. The air fryer cooks evenly through the entire process.
- Can I use chicken breasts or drumsticks to make this recipe? I haven’t made this recipe using chicken breasts, but I would think you can use breasts if you want. They won’t be as juicy as thighs because breasts have less fat. Drumsticks would taste AMAZING in this recipe!
