    • Creamed Spinach Recipe

Creamed Spinach is one of those foods that doesn't look so appetizing but tastes absolutely amazing! And it pairs extremely well with just about any main dish, like this Sautéed Chicken Breasts with Mustard Sauce, this Southern Style Pot Roast, or my Roasted Apple Chicken.

I especially love this spinach recipe during the holidays. I think I could eat this everyday and never get sick of it. It's so good that I would honestly have no problem at all grabbing a bag of tortilla chips and just eating it like it was spinach artichoke dip. It's that good!

    ℹ️ Why This Recipe Works

    1. This creamed spinach recipe is made with frozen spinach. Not only does that make this recipe easier to prepare, but it also contributes to the texture being super smooth.

    2. A lot of recipes use cream cheese when making creamed spinach, but I use sour cream. Cream cheese tends to make it too thick and rich. I've found that by using sour cream, the taste and consistency is perfectly balanced!

    3. You'll find it quick and easy to prepare and then you'll finish it off by baking it in the oven.

    🛒 Ingredients You'll Need

This easy creamed spinach recipe is made with only 4 ingredients. All you need is 2 bags of frozen spinach, shredded mozzarella cheese, sour cream, and a packet of onion soup mix.

All of the cream spinach ingredients can easily be found at your local grocery store and are relatively inexpensive.

    📋 Step-by-Step Recipe Instructions

It's so simple! Here's how you make this spinach side dish.

Start by preheating the oven to at 350°F. In a large pan, cook the frozen spinach according to package directions and then drain in a colander.

Then, add the drained spinach back to the pan. Add the sour cream and Dry Onion Soup mix to the cooked spinach and stir until well combined.
